Hi lovely followers -
So sorry I haven’t been around much, but unfortunately Emily and I (as well as our friends and loved ones here in CO) are in the thick of the destruction of the Waldo Canyon Fire. It is being reported as the most destructive fire in CO Springs history. Our apartment is not in any immediate danger, however we do have friends and coworkers who have been evacuated due to the proximity of the fire lines to their homes. So far 346 homes and 1 life have been lost. We are hanging in there, but when we aren’t glued to the news we’ve been out and about trying to keep our mind off of things. Keep us in your thoughts, I’ll check back in soon (maybe even with a video!)
